Authentication

Visitors can be authenticated by NT Basic authentication over HTTPS, Kerberos or client certificates. 

Passport authentication can be implemented.

 Forum system contains built in authentication.

Searching

Search based on the full text indexes of the articles and their titles and allows searching using the usual Boolean functions. 

System searches the content of PDF (text and scanned) and DOC files and any other Microsoft Office objects as well as HTML content.  Additional document types can be indexed if a suitable ifilter is available.  Documents can be OCR'd to assist indexing as background task.

Searches are run on the links on the system.

Search based on the EGIF metadata keywords such as subject, date, recipient etc.

Management of A-Z lists is provided with complex keyword indexes, ideal for job functions

Easily customised search of document hierarchies.

Support for RSS2.0

Unlimited number of feeds sorted by article type, content, metadata etc.
